1. If you were John Adams, would you have taken the case?
2. If you were on the jury, would you have convicted the soldiers?
3. Adams argued that America was a country ruled by laws instead of by people. Is he right? Who is in charge, the people who make and enforce the laws, or the laws themselves?

ReplyDeleteI think that America is ruled by people rather than laws. I say that because it is true in that people rule and enforce the laws in the U.S.
for a movie based on colonian times it sure said @#$& a lot.

ReplyDeleteI don't think I could have, not being in the situation. The ridicule and threats that went along with taking the side of the soldiers would be horrible and terrifying. That being said, I think he did the morally correct thing, and I respect him for it. Rather than leaving them to die because of something they were justified to do, in fear for himself, he fought to save them because it was right.

ReplyDeleteI dont think i could have convicted them. After hearing the story atleast. It would have been hard to judge with what everybody was sayong about them. You would have had to have been really focased on what they were saying.

ReplyDelete#2 i dont no, it would hav been based on wat i feelt at the time. if i was on the jurry in the movie i would hav said not guilty. i think john adams made a big difrinse in the case.
